Prednisone and behavioral changes in your dog? ?

This is my third try. Something with the web page keeps canceling my answers. I've had no dog taking prednizone. I have taken lots and your description of changes in your dog parallel those in me. I had lung cancer and many subsequent lung infections which require prednizone. I am more talkative, more confrontational, and quicker to lose my temper...overall more aggressive. Doctors tell me that the medicine causes that in many folks. I think dogs are like people in many ways so I'm not surprised at your reports on prednizone. You will need to be more patient and understanding and a little protective of having others around. Be careful of yourself since your animal is not him/herself. I'm sorry for your dog's cancer. I wish you well in what may be a tough road ahead.
