What happens legally when you fake a pregnancy?

I have a friend who faked a pregnancy to get back at a guy. She is "9 months" right now. One of her friends just had a kid so she was going to use those pictures. The "father" is a deadbeat and just gave her hell about being pregnant and never cared through out the 9 months which she knew would happen and thought he would just walk away. They live in different cities so they never see one another. He never gave her money or anything. She has pictures up of her too with a belly and recently he said if she wasn't pregnant he was going to sue her. What can she get sued for? Pain and Suffering? there was no money or anything so it isn't fraud. any help would be great.
