Can i get short layers without cutting too much at the end?

i want really short layers and i know exactly what i want. i want a layer at my eye ; a layer at the tip of my nose a layer at my nose and the rest to fall down. my hair is at my bra clasp thing and i dont have any layers. i want it to be longer so i dont want to cut it short . last time i went to the salon and i asked for layers ; she only gave me one layer because she said my hair will look like a mullet. so is it possible to get layers without cutting to much at the end?
