Hasn't anyone noticed the strange coincidence between the London bombings and the knighting of Salman Rushdie?

Can’t anyone see that the recent bombings in London and the knighting of Salman Rushdie may be connected? This is would be somewhat ogous to the US electing Satan as president – many of the fundamentalist Christens would not just be up in arms, but they would take up arms.
