Horse riding hairstyles for boys ?

Hiya, I have just started horse riding, I ususally have my hair all spiked up with the fringe to the side (mullet cut) but sadly I have to wear a helmet for my own safety, does anyone have any idea's what I could do with my hair as its quite embaressing when I take my helmet off my hair looks a mess. its about an inch and a half long, thanks :)
