University of Phoenix online program?

Ok, I hold a B.A. degree from a CA State College. I have just enrolled at University of Phoenix Online College for their Masters Degreein Education/Curriculum. I was told I can teach with this degree in the state of CA, but now I'm kind of apprehensive because of what people have said about it. I have checked the Dept of Ed website and it is a Regionally Accredited school - has anyone in CA received their degree in this program and was it acceptable at the school districts?
